Tourism Operators & Bus Tours

Tourism Operators and Bus Tours are welcome on site during the Salute to the Sockeye.

The Society offers a guided tour program for Bus Tour Operators, and Commercial Private Clients. If you wish to book one of the limited number of Bus Tour Guides available during the SALUTE to the SOCKEYE festival, please email eventmanager@salmonsociety.com with the topic of “Scheduled Tour”.  These tours are NOT walk-on guides; you will be met at the parking area and the pre-scheduled tour will proceed on foot to the river and interpretive areas.

Hosting Your Own Tour

If you are hosting your own Bus Tours or Guided Tours, you MUST acquire a special operating permit from BC Parks in order to conduct business within the park. To determine whether a business operations permit can be issued, please contact wes.dearmond@gov.bc.ca.

Salute event admission fees apply in all cases.

Salmon Society Guided Tour Rates

COACH RATES:  10-20 PASSENGER COMMERCIAL VAN  $5.00/PER PERSON
TOUR BUS – (21-40 PASSENGER CAPACITY) $150.00/BUS
TOUR BUS – (41+ PASSENGER CAPACITY)  $175.00/BUS 
To Add an Interpretive Guide for your group, there will be an additional fee of $175/guide

Guided Tours are 45 min and each guide can accommodation up to 30 persons.


FILLABLE FORM

The Adams River Salmon Society commercial guided tours are available only by special arrangement and pre-booking.

Due to the high number of visitors to the park over the weekends, tours cannot, generally, be accommodated on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Holiday Monday.
