February & March 2026 saw visible work happening on Adams River as part of the habitat and restoration efforts.
Skwlāx te Secwepemcúl̓ecw, supported by Fisheries and Oceans Canada and BC Parks, were successful with Phase I of a Salmon habitat restoration project on the south side of Adams River downstream of the Skwlax Anglemont Bridge. We are already seeing some improvements in stream flows.
Thank you to Skwlāx te Secwepemcúl̓ecw and the Guardians for leading the way to restore and enhance salmon habitat.
